British Columbia’s Premier Gravel Fondo Series is back again in 2019 with three challenging events

Tri 1 Events have announced their popular returning series of Gravel Fondo’s for 2019. The BC Triple Crown of Gravel includes the well-known, popular and well-established events, The Golden Ears Gravel Fondo the Cowichan Crusher, Vancouver Island’s Premier Gravel Fondo and the Kettle Mettle, Western Canada's First and Premier Gravel Fondo.

The Cowichan Crusher, on June 23rd 2019 is the second round of the 2019 series

This year on May 25th 2019, the second annual Golden Ears Gravel Fondo will showcase the amazing scenery of Pitt Meadows, Port Coquitlam and Coquitlam while also providing a safe and challenging gravel ride on the many gravel dykes and pathways throughout the region. The return Gravel Fondo features two distances of 55 km and 100+ km which cater for all abilities of cyclists. The Full Fondo features an updated course with some added hills to make it more challenging

The Golden Ears Gravel Fondo is primarily on gravel and dirt and the majority of the ride is on the dykes and trails through Port Coquitlam and Pitt Meadows, show casing the amazing scenery of Golden Ears also providing a scenic and challenging ride.  After completing the ride, participants will enjoy the Red Racer Beer Gardens and food.

The Cowichan Crusher, on June 23rd 2019 is the second round of the 2019 series, which is a big ride on gravel and dirt in the Cowichan Valley. The Cowichan Crusher showcases the historical nature and amazing scenery of the Cowichan Valley, providing a scenic and challenging ride.  The Cowichan Crusher start / finish has moved to Lake Cowichan for 2019 to make for better riding and scenery

The ride features two standard distances of 55 km and 100+ km which cater for all abilities of cyclists. Start and finishing in Lake Cowichan, participants will enjoy nearby camping, accommodations and a post ride dip in the lake, a BBQ and Red Racer Beer Gardens as well.

The Sixth edition of the Kettle Mettle showcases the Kettle Valley Trail and the amazing scenery of the Okanagan while also providing a safe and challenging ride.  There are three distances for abilities; 50km, 100km and tougher 130+km which features and additional sections of gravel. The main start is beside Lake Okanagan, Penticton and finishes in East Kelowna. On route, there be several aid stations as well as support for riders with flats and mechanical issues and of course first aid. After the event participants will get a great post food and Red Racer beer gardens and entertainment

After the ride, participants can enjoy the wine festival evening in Kelowna.
