Four Live Music Acts to Make the Party at the Rensselaerville Cycling Festival as Epic as the Riding

Black Mountain SymphonyThe Rensselaerville Cycling Festival, home of the Team Jamis - Hagens Berman Gran Fondo, have announced the live music lineup for the September 28, 2014, event. The Lustre Kings, Black Mountain Symphony, Wadhams Waddlers and Emileigh Tanner will all be in town to keep the party rocking all day long. Live music will accompany Gran Fondo participants at the celebratory mass start, at the festive aid station on Rensselaerville Main Street, and at the finish line during the post-ride party, gourmet barbecue and Festival Market.

The Lustre Kings

The Lustre Kings play rock and roll the right way. The powerhouse Albany band has wowed crowds at Manhattan's Rodeo Bar, Seattle's Tractor Tavern and all points in between, and they've done it with uncommon fervor, commitment and flair. The group draws from a deeper well than most roots rock acts which gives their music depth while keeping the party hopping and the dance floor filled. Front man Mark will ride the Piccolo before his set!

Emileigh Tanner will sing the National AnthemBlack Mountain Symphony recently opened for Rusted Root and showcases an eclectic range of influences blended together to create its own special sound. From baroque classical violin and haunting folk-tinged ballads to funk-rock drums and hard-hitting dance numbers, the band sprinkles its sets with hints of everything from classical music to Motown, blues and jazz.

Descending from the Adirondacks, the Wadhams Waddlers are a four-member old-timey string band playing a unique mix of folksy songs. Their music is a mixture of old-time fiddle music, new-time banjo music and bass lullabies. Front man Kevin Bouchard-Hall is a former pro cyclist and will start the Gran Fondo then take a short-cut to the Rensselaerville Main Street Aid Station to play the gig there with his band!

The National Anthem will be sung by Rensselaerville's own Emileigh Tanner. Rising star Emileigh is the front woman for Renselaerville's own Peckham Hollow Band, regularly charming the crowds at various packed local venues.
