Mont Tremblant

Where ski village charm meets French-Canadian culture - Mont-Tremblant is an internationally renowned ski village nestled in the Laurentian mountains of Quebec, Canada - just north of Montreal. The region has phenomenal and compelling features that make it ideal for road cycling.

Significant road investments in recent years combined with the scenery and the challenge of the Laurentians, now make Mont-Tremblant a major destination for recreational cycling in the summer months. New wide shoulders have been put in especially for cycling, with drivers continually informed of driving courtesy with regards to cyclists and a new paved bike path for leisure cyclists too!

The quaint, rustic village of Mont-Tremblant is home to other top sporting events including the IRONMAN Mont-Tremblant in August 2016. Both IRONMAN 70.3 and IRONMAN Mont-Tremblant were named by the Canadian Sport Tourism Alliance “International Sporting Events of the Year” in 2013 - a recognition of exceptional sport tourism initiatives.

The surrounding area is known for its hiking, kayaking, golfing and cycling—making it an idyllic location for athletes and their families and friends. The village and its surrounding communities offer a walkable, easily navigable location for all your needs.

Mt-Tremblants’ newly improved outdoors infrastructure includes;

20 road bike circuits
50 km of newly renovated mountain bike trails (IMBA standard)
277 km of hiking trails
46.3 km of cycling paths

GFMT is the perfect excuse for an early season getaway! Pack in some great mileage and discover the new bike friendly and international summer destination Mont-Tremblant has become.
