Sold Out Farm to Fork Series Celebrates in Maine

Every aid station was hosted by local working farms and featured treats made with ingredients from each. The aid stations also featured fuel from GU Energy Labs, Clif Bar and Colavita. 

Over $7,000 to local non-profits and farms, in there biggest Volunteer Competition to date.

Compete for the Chicken Polka Dot Jersey at Farm to Fork Fondo SeriesOver 450 cyclists celebrated farming, food and a fondo in Wrenegade Sports phenominally successful Farm-To-Fork cycling series recipe. 

Former Olympians, Tour de France riders, and the Colavita-Bianchi Women’s Pro Cycling Team rode alongside a mix of casual and competitive cycling enthusiasts throughout the day.

Cyclists savored food from Wolfe Neck's Farm, Wealden Farm, Crystal Spring Farm, East Branch Farm, Pineland Farm and Skyland Farm - as well as Sabbathday Lake Shaker Village.

Farm to Fork Fondo – Maine weekend activities also included: a bicycle skills clinics for riders of all abilities led by the Colavita | Bianchi Professional Cycling Team; a talk on the local agriculture; local and cycling industry vendors; more than $10,000 in raffle prizes; live music; Kids' Mini-Fondo;farm tours; and more. All activities are hosted by Wolfe’s Neck Farm in Freeport, Maine.

Farm to Fork Fondo – Maine will benefited local farms and charitable organizations via the innovative New Holland Volunteer Competition. Volunteers filling jobs such as staffing aid stations and marshaling intersections will be organized into teams each representing different local farms or charitable farm organizations. With their support and creativity, these teams will compete for participants' votes, and will all win cash donations for the farms and organizations they represent, this year $7,000 dollars.
