Cylance Pro Cycling Announce 2017 Santos Women’s Tour Roster

This women's edition of the Tour Down Under starts January 14th and concludes on January 17th.

The Cylance Pro Cycling women's team, fresh off their recent training camp in Cambrils, Spain, will start their second season in Adelaide, Australia for the 6th edition of the Santos Women’s Tour.  

Returning to the UCI Women’s WorldTour peloton for 2017, Cylance Pro Cycling will debut their 2017 cycling kit on the roads in Australia for the first race of the year.

"After a fantastic training camp in Spain, I am excited to start the 2017 season.  The women have been preparing for the year ahead, and it will be nice to get it started in Australia" says Manel Lacambra, Director Sportif.

The Cylance Pro Cycling roster for the Santos Women’s Tour includes 2017 additions to the team: Kirstin Wild, Dani King (4th overall in 2016), Jasinska Malgorzata, and Marta Tagliaferro, as well as returning stand outs: Rossella Ratto and Rachele Barbieri.

The 2016 edition of the Santos Women’s Tour saw the race elevated to UCI 2.2 status and and it will maintain its UCI status for 2017.

The race begins in Hahndorf for a 106.5km stage that will end in Meadows for what should be a reduced bunch sprint.

On stage 2 the race again sees the women tackle the same course used for the men’s People’s Choice Classic a total of 14 times for 32.2KM in East End, Adelaide.

The race continues on stage 3 from Tanunda to Lyndoch for 92.4KM with 2 KOM points that could prove decisive.

The Santos Women’s Tour finishes up on January 17th with stage 4, an over one hour criterium race in Victoria Park, just east of Adelaide’s city center.
