Registrations for Liège-Bastogne-Liège Challenge 2018 now open!

In 2018 cycling enthusiasts will get another chance to ride their own Liège-Bastogne-Liège one day before the pro race. Sign up now for the 8th edition of the Liège-Bastogne-Liège Challenge, on Saturday 21 April 2018

As a professional rider, an explosive punch or a fast sprint can decide whether you win or lose. As a recreational cyclist it also pays to be quick. If you sign up now, you will enjoy a discounted rate. Choose between three distances: 75, 153 or 273 km, all with a start and finish in Liège.

The 273 km course is identical to the pro race the next day, packing over 5,200 altitude metres. The 75 km and 153 km tours are proper challenges in their own right, though. Try and conquer mythical climbs such as the Côte de Wanne, de Côte de la Roche-aux-Faucons, de Côte de La Redoute and the Côte de Saint-Nicolas. All these arduous ascents will have electronic timing systems so you get to compare your times with your friends to see who’s the best climber of them all. On Sunday you will find out how you compare against Philippe Gilbert, Vincenzo Nibali or Alejandro Valverde.

Just like the pro classic, the cyclosportive will also attract a colourful, international bunch. Last year over 50 nationalities took the start of the Liège-Bastogne-Liège Challenge. Many Italians, Spaniards, Dutch, Brits and of course many Belgians all considered this event as one of the biggest challenges on their cycling calendar.

Grand Prix Montagne!

The Liège-Bastogne-Liège Challenge includes electronic timing on 3 mythical climbs of Redoute, Roche-aux-Faucons and Saint-Nicolas.

An electronic chip stuck to your frame plate installed on you bike handlebars will record your times. View your times afterwards 'My LBL Challenge', you can find your climbing time on each timed hill!
