Fondo Fredericksburg returns in 2019!

Virginia’s newest Fondo is back this fall for a second year of great cycling and camaraderie!

Fondo Fredericksburg returns in 2019!

Situated midway between Richmond and Washington D.C. along the I-95 corridor, Fondo Fredericksburg returns on October 20 to Virginia’s popular cycling region.  There are routes of 30, 50 and 75 miles to choose from, each catering to cyclists of all abilities.  The event culminates with a food truck & craft beer festival with live music.

New this year is the start and finish in Dixon Park on the banks of the Rappahannock River.  All routes traverse Stafford and Spotsylvania counties, feature both challenging and gently rolling hills and pass Fredericksburg & Spotsylvania National Military Park, marking the spot of four significant Civil War battles.

When you’re not on the bike, you’ll never run out of things to do in Fredericksburg.  From visiting battlefields, museums and George Washington’s boyhood home to exploring the historic downtown with its brick sidewalks and one-of-a-kind restaurants, art galleries and antique shops, there’s lots to do!
