OPEN Cycles Sponsor new Single Steed Quiver Killer solo championships at the Best of Both Worlds

Racers take one bike over 62-miles of rural pavement, and then the same bike over 23-miles of diverse single track on one continuous race. It’s a mixed terrain cycling challenge of the highest level. Pretty hardcore! We call it “The Single Steed Quiver Killer” solo championships.

The Single Steed Quiver Killer at 2019 Best of Both is for the die-hard soloists; Best of Both Worlds introduce the all-new for 2019 “OPEN Cycles Single Steed Quiver-Killer” category at the Best of Both bike race in Bend, Oregon on June 22nd. The division is as unique and challenging as any race in the world - take one bike over this entire mixed-terrain course - 62 miles of rural pavement, and 23-miles of diverse single track. The ultimate Best of Both challenge presents a dedicated Mens, and Women’s “Single Steed” Champions jersey produced by Rapha.

This category competes within the Men's and Women’s Open solo races, meaning you compete with riders that choose to transition and switch bikes. So its a gamble and a challenge - take two bikes into the race, or blast through transition on your versatile, trusty, all-surface-rig and get a lead onto the single track.

OPEN Cycles are category sponsors with a brand new Open bike to raffle to a local charity.

Best of Both Worlds are taking it up a notch. In collaboration with our local Open Dealer and Best of Both sponsor- @crowsfeetbend , and Andy Kessler from Open Cycles, we raffle a complete Open bicycle in benefit of the @oregon_adaptive_sports foundation. Our category sponsors have rallied hard to support us, donating a killer build kit to assemble this incredible machine - a new Open model to be launched June 1st - for this cause.
