SPNDX Stampede Returns with Gravel Vol 7 October 6th

Swap your race numbers for a Gravel Party as riders get away from traffic and jump into the adventure on October 6th

(July 13, 2019, Southern California) - SPNDX Stampede returns with Vol No.7 as they go back to where it all began in Temecula, Southern California.

In true Stampede tradition, the beautiful Palumbo Winery is the incredible backdrop to Stampede’s gravel ride and more important after party.

The Stampede is on the shorter side in the 45-mile range, which still offers up a great challenge as most all of the route is off-road, but you won’t be out there all day. SPNDX want you to get your ride in and come back to enjoy yourself! Don’t be smashed after 7 hours of riding but instead come back with a smile on your face while you’re treated to catered food, beer, wine, and live music.

The route through Temecula wine country offers up punchy climbs and scenic views. Don't worry about traffic or any stoplights, the routes are so sublime, with incredible views and super gravel grinding friendly.

This is a fully supported ride and there will be three aid stations on hand to offer you drinks and treats during the ride. This is a strava timed ride and not considered a race of any kind.  The SPNDX Stampede crew tries their best to promote the most anti-racing vibe where you can ride with the local pro’s but still post up at each sag stop for a laugh and a chat. Leave that seriousness back at your local parking lot crit!

SPNDX Stampede puts together one of the best Swag Bags ever! For each and every rider. They guarantee will be pleased with - it’s the little things that count. No water bottles or gel packets here. Past Stampeders have received sweatshirts, coffee mugs, beer glasses, custom fanny packs and much more! Each event the Stampede offers up a new collection of swag for everyone to be excited about!

After the ride, enjoy a complimentary top-notch meal with your choice of beer and/or wine and sit back and enjoy the live music and vendors at the winery.

SPNDX Stampede founder Jon Hornbeck commented “We’ll make sure you’re pumped all day and post ride too. We try to basically create an amazing party with a killer gravel ride in the morning for people.”

This is a Gravel ride so be sure to bring your gravel bike. SPNDX suggest tire size in the 32 range or larger. Disc brakes are always a plus and have enough gearing to get up some steep pitches. Mountain bikes have been used in past events too.

The actual route will be released closer to the date of the event for your viewing and GPS downloading capabilities.
