Last weekend Three-times world champion Peter Sagan hosted the three-day Sagan Roadie-Oh in San Diego, California

Peter Sagan who returned to California just after the news broke that the Tour of California was postponed and the announcement that he would ride the Giro d'Italia for the first time in May.

Sagan was he usual relaxed and fun self both on and off the bike. The festival weekend started with a VIP Gala 

Along for th ride was Tour de France green jersey winner Erik Zabel and US track cycling star Nelson Vails.

The ride featured a Friday Gala for Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) and Outride Foundation at the home of former NBA star and avid cyclist Bill Walton.

On the Saturday there was the Sagan Fondo Expo and VIP event.

The Gran Roadie-Oh on Sunday included three different distances for riders to choose from (50 km, 100 km and 150 km), beginning at 7:00am. 

The unique routes took riders through the hills and valleys of beautiful North County San Diego.

Sagan is opted for the longest 150-km / 93-mile route.

Both Saturday and Sunday’s festivities will take place at North City in San Marcos and the festival is rumoured to have raised more than $100,000 for the Challenged Athletes Foundation.

There were Unique 750ml Beer Bottle trophies for finishers across a range six age categories for both men and women.
