Haute Route Announce 5 European Destinations for 2022 Amateur Cycling Calendar

Iconic European Destinations

The Haute Route 2021 circuit has already taken amateur cyclists to Crans-Montana (Switzerland), the Pyrenees, the French Alps and the Dolomites, and will finish with a final race in Ventoux (France), from 1 to 3 October.

In 2022, the 5 races incorporate the most beautiful cycling destinations in Europe:

- Haute Route Alpe d'Huez, from 24 to 26 June (3 days)
- Haute Route Pyrenees, from 5 to 9 July (5 days)
- Haute Route Alps, from 21 to 27 August (7 days)
- Haute Route Dolomites, from 30 August to 3 September (5 days)
- Haute Route Davos, from 23 to 25 September (3 days)

A more compact route with less climbing and fewer kilometres than the original will be available for the Haute Route Alpe d'Huez, so that every rider can take on the challenge and experience the Haute Route.

"We are delighted to reveal our new 2022 calendar, which brings together a great combination of legendary climbs and little-known gems," says Julie Royer, Managing Director of Haute Route Group and Director of Cycling at The IRONMAN Group"The Haute Route Davos is a great addition to the series, taking us into the heart of the Swiss Alps, where we will have the opportunity to explore routes that are little known to the general public. With easy logistics and fantastic local support, there is no doubt that this event will be a highlight of the year."

Our 2022 calendar celebrates iconic European destinations and offers the best cycling that Europe has to offer. But rest assured that we have every intention of continuing our international momentum in 2023, bringing together riders from around the world in spectacular and unexpected cycling destinations."
