Tri 1 Events have announced their popular returning series of Gravel Fondo’s for 2022.
The BC Triple Crown of Gravel includes the well-known, popular and well-established events, the Cowichan Crusher, Vancouver Island’s Premier Gravel Fondo and the Kettle Mettle, Western Canada's First and Premier Gravel Fondo, plus the all new Sea2Sky Gravel Fondo in the popular riding area of Squamish, BC.

The Cowichan Crusher, on May 29th 2022 is the first round in the series, which is a big ride on gravel and dirt in the Cowichan Valley. The Cowichan Crusher showcases the historical nature and amazing scenery of the Cowichan Valley, providing a scenic and challenging ride. The Cowichan Crusher starts at Lake Cowichan which makes. for better riding and scenery.
The ride features three routes of 25km Beginner Fondo , 55km medio Fondo and 100 km Full Fondo which cater for all abilities of cyclists. Start and finishing in the scenic town of Lake Cowichan, participants will enjoy nearby camping, accommodations and a post ride dip in the lake, Awesome food and Red Arrow Beer Gardens as well.

The 8th edition of the oldest Gravel Fondo in Western Canada, the Kettle Mettle showcases the Kettle Valley Trail and the amazing scenery of the Okanagan while also providing a safe and challenging ride on Sept 16th -17th, 2022.

You can choose between the 1 Day Kettle Mettle Klassic Gravel Fondo and Inaugural Kettle Mettle 2 Day event.
The 1 day Kettle Mettle Klassic Gravel Fondo has three distances for abilities; 50km, 100km and tougher 138 km which features additional sections of gravel.
The main start is beside Lake Okanagan, Penticton and finishes in East Kelowna. On route, there be several aid stations as well as support for riders with flats and mechanical issues and of course first aid. After the event participants will get a great post food and beer gardens and entertainment
After the ride, participants can tour some of the many wineries in the majestic Okanagan.

Registration includes; a Souvenir T shirt, support on course (mechanicals / flats), several aid stations on course, Awesome post race food and beverage, results with a time and draw prizes.
Prize categories include men and women, individual, teams of 2 and teams of 4 participants.
In 2022 we will be having Prize Money for Top 3 overall Male and Female in the Full Fondo Plus event
