BEND, OREGON, USA: Team Breakaway are excited to announce that they are on record pace for this year’s Oregon Trail Gravel Stage Race and Ride registrations. As of February 9th 2024, they are down to a final 70 spots left before they close registration for 2024.

The team at Breakaway Promotions works hard to determine the perfect number of riders for each event they produce and then sticks to that number. By limiting the number of participants, it assures there is plenty of room in camp each night, on the roads during the race/ride, and each and every rider receives the best support and customer service possible.

“With Oregon Trail Gravel and all of our gravel events in the Oregon Gravel Series, service and support is #1” states race director Chad Sperry. “We measure success by the experience each and every rider comes away with. As a small family-owned business, Team Breakaway considers our participants our stakeholders and works hard to make sure they have everything they need for success”.

Much of the unprecedented success of this year’s event registrations is being linked to Oregon Trail being included on the Gravel Earth Series as one of 5 global tier events. Currently 40 states and 7 countries are represented with more likely to join before registration is closed.

For 2024 Oregon Trail has taken ease of logistics and customer service to an even higher, level recently announcing their partnership with Oregon State University-Cascades in Bend, Oregon to host the start and finish of this year’s 5-day stage race. “Our partnership with Oregon State University is going to allow us to provide much easier travel and race logistics for those coming to the event this year”, says Sperry. “From secure parking during the event, to providing airport shuttles for those flying to the event, shower facilities afterwards being only 3 blocks from the host hotel and elevating the final post event dinner and party we are confident everyone will enjoy next level support this year”.
