The race completely sold out early and the report from riders is Big Gravel was more challenging and likely one of the most difficult gravel courses in North America. Breakaway Promotions delivered a race that was challenging enough to make it worthwhile for racers from across the country to attend.

Those who finished we salute you for accomplishing such a major endeavour. We want to thank you so much for your tremendous support and for joining us at this year’s event.

Located in Sisters, Oregon the event provided an amazing ride through the Central Oregon high desert and Cascade Mountain Range.

There were three courses on offer. Big Gravel was bigger and badder than ever before, almost 91 miles and 8,600 feet of climbing!

Medium Gravel was also more challenging, 63.1 miles and 5,763 Feet of climbing. The short course got a bit easier 43.7 miles and 3,339 feet of climbing as was ideal for newcomers.

The weather was dry and warm, making for ideal racing conditions.
