Over 7,000 cyclists worldwide from over 25 countries took part in the Road, Gravel, MTB and family rides celebrating the 2025 Tour de France in style afterwards

The 2nd official edition of the L’Etape Denmark by Tour de France was a huge success with more than 7,000 riders taking part and experiencing the authentic Tour de France atmosphere. It was also the opportunity to meet and ride with legend Johan Museeuw the official ambassador of L'Etape Denmark.

Up to seven aid stations were organized by local volunteers, famous not only for their great food but also for their great vibes and authentic Viking encouragement.

In the 300km race, Dane Mathias Lisson was fastest in a time of 8:05:35 to take the Yellow Jersey. He outsprinted countryman Nikolaj Hebsgaard (Cykelmagasinet Velomore) 7 seconds behind with countryman Mikkel Redder in third 4 minutes behind.

In the 300km women's category, German Julia Luck (FeJu) took the Yellow Jersey in a time of 9:21:22. Danish women Franziska Nicole Knaak was second 20 minutes behind with countrywomen Torild Olsen Øvstebø (Tasta & Omegn Sykkelklubb) was third 1 hour behind.

In the men's 160km race, German Michel Elle (Hyper Hyper) took the Yellow Jersey in a timeof 4:16:10 with Dane Flemming Baltser 1m 15s behind in second, and Dane Alexander Lunde Ammitzbøll (Team Zwift AV) 1:24s behind in third place.

In the womens 160km ategory, Dane Silke Baudendistel took the Yellow Jersey in a time of 4:57:52, with German Kristin Wedermann in second 10 minutes behind and Dane Danielle Axfort Eriksen (Jaguar) in third place 20 minutes behind.

In the 125 km race, Dane Jens Frede Rasmussen took the Yellow Jersey in a time of 3:24:35, with countryman Rasmus Riddersholm Nielsen 3:27:03 and countryman Anders Boel (DLT Group) in third place 3:27:10.

In the womens 125km category, Dane Line Glintborg took the Yellow Jersey in a time of 3:54:26 ahead of Dane Lisbeth Kjærsfeldt (team Odder) in second 3:54:30 and Dane Helle Vistisen 3:54:31.

In the 75km race Dane Mads Bay 1:57:21, Dane Martin Aagaard 1:57:42, Dane Matias Bengtsson 1:57:44.

In the womens 75km category, Dane Laila Christensen (Team DC), Loraine ten Damme (De deurtrappers) from the Netherlands 2:30:20, German Julia Soostmeyer 2:32:34.

In the 50km race Dane Nicolai Kastbjerg took the Yellow Jersey in a time of 1:22:14, with Kristian Ydegaard 1:22:17 in second, Ole Jansen 1:22:17 in third place.

In the womens 50km category, Dane Helle Ardahl took the Yellow Jersey in a time of 1:47:09, with Dane Louise Sørensen 1:52:37 in second and Malene Kleppe Hasforth (2+2=4) 1:55:22 in third place.

As well as the Yellow Jerseys, there were jerseys awarded for the fastest sprinters (Green Jersey) and climbers (Polka Dot Jersey) through timed sections out on course.

Aswell as the five road courses, there was a family ride, 5 Gravel and 5 MTB courses rides too.

Afterwards, everyone celebrated in the finishing area in the in the city of Viborg, clad in yellow, built just like a “Tour Village” with live streaming of 2024 Tour de France race taking place on huge screens for the ultimate "Tour de France" celebration with Live Music, food, drink and the podium presentations of the Yellow, Green and Polka Dot jerseys.

The finish line in the city of Viborg was be clad in yellow and built just like a “Tour Village”, just like a real Tour de France host city with the red carpet welcoming riders to the finish line.
