Bole and Baleisyte both win 3rd edition Abu Dhabi Gran Fondo again

A challenging 150km race awaited participants, beginning once again in the capital city of Abu Dhabi and going all the way to the Garden City of Al Ain

The race has a total prize money of AED 2 million ($545,000 USD), being one of the most prominent sporting events in the UAE, which enhances Abu Dhabi's efforts in organising world-class cycling events, while also highlighting cycling as a sport and its role in improving its practitioners’ overall health.

Over 500 cyclists participated in the erace, with men and women winning cash for 20 top places, and age group categories also paying the 10 places, sharing the huge $545,000 USD prize purse.

Former professional Grega Bole (Shabab Alahli Cycling Team) won the race for a second time. He outsprinted teammate Tim Marsman to win in 3:20:52 with Nassim Saidi from the Dubai Police Cycling team finishing in third place in 3:23:11. Boles also won the race back in 2022.

Olivija Baleisyte (Dubai Police Cycling Team) outsprinted teammates Akvile Gedraityte and Madison Black in a close sprint to finish in 3:24:02.
