Tyler Stites (Project Echelon Racing) won the men's race after attacking his breakaway companions and soloing to victory while Chloe Dygert (Canyon SRAM) won the women’s race in a similar fashion.

Local rider Stites, crossed the finish line after 102 miles in 3:30:29. Cormac McGeough was second two minutes behind and Garin Kelly was third four minutes behind.

USA Champion Chloe Dygert won the women’s race in 3:43:43 ahead of Rinaldo Majorie two minutes behind and Holly Breck was third nine minutes behind.

The El Tour de Tucson race dates back to 1983 claiming the title of “America’s Biggest Bike Race”, with professionals and amateurs riding and racing every November in the Sonoran desert around Tucson, Arizona.

Unfortunately this year, a handful of local residents complained that they couldn't drive anywhere on race day, however the event has raised millions of dollars for local and international charitable organizations.
