Following the 2022 Tour de France, where Van Aert won three stages, several media outlets labeled him as "one of the most complete cyclists of his generation".[9] His rivalry with Mathieu van der Poel in cyclo-cross is considered among the greatest and longest lasting rivalries in the sport.

Wout van Aert €3,500,000 a year

A wordl champion oat cycloscross and MTB, on the road he has won the prestigious spring road classics, Strade Bianche in 2023 and the Amstel Gold Race in 2024. His best Monument finish was 2nd in the Liège–Bastogne–Liège in 2023. His biggest victory on the road in his first season being the 2021 Brabantse Pijl road classic. 

While his early successes on the road have been in classics, in his second season, riding his first Tour de France he took his first Grand Tour stage, winning solo on the climb of the iconic Alpe d'Huez, the youngest rider ever to do so. He is also known for his aggressive descending skills.

Yates has taken more than twenty wins during his professional career, including overall victories at the 2021 Volta a Catalunya, the 2023 Tour de Romandie and the 2024 Tour de Suisse. He has also won a stage at the Tour de France, in 2023, and the one-day races 2015 Clásica de San Sebastián (2015) and the 2023 Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal.

He is rumoured to earn €2.7 million euros at UAE Team Emirates.

In 2019 he won the Tour de France, becoming the first Latin American rider to do so, and the youngest winner since 1909. At the 2021 Giro d'Italia, Bernal took his second Grand Tour win.

In 2022 while riding with Ineos Grenadiers teammates, Bernal hit the back of a stopped passenger bus at a speed of about 50 kilometres per hour. In total, doctors counted 20 separate fractures and initially warned there was a 95% chance Bernal would die or be paralyzed. He underwent two surgeries, both of which were successful in the immediate sense; the long term impacts are less certain. By 25 January he was stabilized, although still in intensive care as the doctors moved to treating less serious injuries.

Bernal return to racing in 2023 finished 8th at the Tour de Romandie and also rode the Tour de France and the Vuelta a Espana.

Egan Bernal €2,500,000 a year
