Moab Fondo Fest - May 3 - 4, 2025

Gran Fondo Moab, one of Utah’s top Fondos joined the family in 2023, and due to demand has grown to a two day festival of cycling. Taking place next May 3 – 4, its two incredible events and the choice is yours – the Gran Fondo Moab on Saturday or the Gravel Fondo Moab on Sunday. Or, for the ultimate challenge, tackle both events back-to-back!

The Gran Fondo still represents Italian Cycling Tradition in the American Southwest.

This scenic journey will take you from Lions Park, our cozy and familiar launchpad from previous years, heading north along the quiet pathway adjacent to highway 191 for a safe and scenic ride. After the climb out of town, experience breathtaking vistas on highway 313, passing iconic landmarks like Merrimac and Monitor Buttes, Big Mesa, Plateau Viewpoint, and the Knoll, offering unforgettable views of Moab's stunning landscape. From there, riders will enjoy a mostly downhill return to Lions Park for post-ride celebrations with refreshments and camaraderie.

The Gran Fondo has a mass start with overall results and results broken up by age groups. The route will have something for everyone with its steep climbs and rolling hills, flat sections, and gorgeous scenery. This will be a cycling event that you will remember always.

Gravel Fondo - Take on a challenging 50-mile ride through the captivating ruggedness of Gemini Bridges Road, where every pedal stroke unveils the enchanting red rock formations and expansive vistas on Sunday’s Gravel Fondo.

Cruise past iconic landmarks, including the Gooney Bird rock, and ascend the Gemini Bridges climb to Highway 313, treating yourself to panoramic views of the majestic Canyonlands.

The Moab gravel terrain offers the perfect challenge for both novice and seasoned riders alike, guiding you along the base of Mill Canyon before completing the loop back. Whether you're exploring the desert gravel for the first time or seeking the next challenge in your cycling journey, the Gravel Fondo Moab guarantees to etch unforgettable memories.

For the more competitive, there is a KOM/QOM competition on the biggest climbs on both days.

Gravel Royale Stage Race – August 22 – 25, 2025

After an incredible sold-out 2^nd edition of TransRockies Gravel Royale, Canada’s premier gravel stage race is back for its 3^rd edition in August 22 – 25. With 3 days of racing over 4 days, the TransRockies Gravel Royale is truly in a league of its own.

Gravel Royale will take riders on secluded gravel roads through the Canadian Rocky Mountains from Nipika Mountain Resort. The extensive network of well-maintained fire roads in the region guarantee great riding and racing conditions, the traditional home to the Ktunaxa Nation Indigenous people.

Every stage is designed around adventure, with spectacular views and the chance to spot wildlife as you ride. Each day, racers will conquer a new mountain pass on their way to the finish line.

Riders will be welcomed on arrival day with a Shake Out ride lead by one of our participating Pro riders, followed by a 3-day stage race starting the next day. Two distances will be offered each stage– a “Full Pint” with a daily distance of 90-120 km (about 75 mi) and a “Half Pint” with a daily distance of 40-85 km (about 50 mi). Riders can compete for stage podiums and general classification in either the Full or Half Pint, or just jump into whichever ride distance suits them for a fully supported ride each day.

In total, the full 3-day course (aka the Royal Flush) extends approx. 300km and climbs over 5,500m for the full pint course. The Half pint option serves up around 200km and 3,500m of climbing. The majority of the route is gravel road with some sections of double track and narrower deactivated roads.

After each stage, participants can anticipate a relaxing, fun and memorable time at camp. Recharge at Chillville with ice-cold beverages while you relax in a Kuma Outdoor Gear chair and listen to great music. - Awards Ceremonies will take place in Chillville in the afternoon, so you can enjoy the festivities without feeling rushed with music, snacks and a nice campfire for riders to socialize and hang out with other participants.

After 20 years, TransRockies has perfected their camp hospitality and provides all of the amenities riders could need. The TransRockies team sets up and tears down your tent at Nipika, provides showers, a charging station, prepares your meals, and much more.

Each day, massage and athletic therapy stations are available along with mechanical support and a bike wash for participants. Fuel up for your ride at the food trucks or join in for dinner after the Awards Ceremonies.

The TransRockies team pride themselves on the rugged and remote nature of their stages, but that doesn’t mean you’ll be left to fend for yourself. They ensure an expertly marked course, 2 checkpoints per stage, as well as ambassadors and course crews, ready to lend racers a helping hand.

It also brings together cyclists from around the world to enjoy the unique beauty and challenges of this remarkable area, offering a rewarding challenge for the weekend warrior, hard core roadie, triathlete-in-training or anyone who simply wants to ride their bike along this scenic route.

Gran Fondo Badlands – July 5th 2025

The Drumheller Valley is one with a rich and unique heritage. The dinosaur capital of the world, and some of the most iconic landscapes you will ever encounter. Located a little NE of Calgary, the Gran Fondo Badlands travels 162 km, 100 km, 75 km or 50 km through the heart of the stunning hoodoos and mighty Red Deer River.

Riders will also receive complimentary breakfast at the Badlands Community Centre on race morning, well-stocked and supportive aid stations, a delicious catered post-race lunch with Vegan and Gluten Free options available, a professionally organized event, including support from a variety of sponsors.
