The 51st edition of one of the top Gran Fondo's in Northern Europe
Styrkeproven, Norway - More than 5,000 participants will take on the challenge next weekend, June 16-18.
Styrkeproven is the 4th event is part of the growing Gran Fondo World Tour ® Series. With 5 distances from 532 to 60 kms and 5 simultaneous starts in Trodheim-Kvam-Lillehammer-Gjovik and Eidsvol.
Last year Elisabeth Solberg and Knut Sande took victory over the longest distance, from Trodheim to Oslo, with an amazing performance of over 37 kph average speed.

This year 1,500 points are available for the victors, enabling them to reach podium positions in this year's Gran Fondo World Tour ® series leader board.

The Ladies Edition
Promotion of Women's Participation in Gran Fondo Cycling Events
For second year, the woman's Gran Fondo event will host more than 150 ladies from 8 different nationalities. The Ladies Edition will provide an exclusive and separated start from Lillehamer to Oslo.
An initiative with leading women cyclists: Kaisa Lantto, Marit Augustin, Heidi Tovdal and Bente Ljungren as the event ambassadors.
The Styrkeproven Peugeot Grand Prix is the first and leading women's specific Womens Gran Fondo worldwide to promote, encourage and movtivate the huge numbers of women worldwide taking up cycling.
Growing numbers of Women from around world have the opportunity to ride 191 kms with 1,327 metres of climbing.
