Gran Fondo National Series Announces Carmichael Training Systems as Official Coaching Partner
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Gran Fondo National Series (GNFS), the largest series of Gran Fondo events in the USA with a nationwide calendar of 12 events attended by over 7,000 riders, today announced Carmichael Training Systems (CTS) as its exclusive coaching partner for 2018. As part of the new partnership, CTS, the world-wide leader in endurance training, sports nutrition and performance coaching, will provide exclusive training tips, riding tips and nutritional tips for GFNS riders.
“We hope to reach even more amateur cyclists through this new partnership with CTS and maximize each athlete’s overall GFNS experience,” said GFNS Series Director Reuben Kline. “CTS has a stellar reputation and is the unequivocal leader in the cycling coaching industry, so we’re thrilled to be bringing their expertise directly to GFNS riders.”
The GFNS nearly doubled the series’ number of events in 2018, following a strategic partnership with Haute Route, the most prestigious multi-day event series for amateur cyclists worldwide. CTS is also the Official Coaching Partner of Haute Route.
"It's great to see the Gran Fondo National Series expand and draw more and more cyclists to their events," said CTS CEO/Founder Chris Carmichael. "We're happy to partner with GFNS and help these cyclists show up to their gran fondo with great fitness and as prepared as possible."
