Thomas de Gendt wins stage two at the Tour of Romandie
Lotto Soudal’s Thomas de Gendt won the 174km second stage of the Tour de Romandie in Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland, today
The Belgian soloed to victory in 4:03:05, beating Bahrain-Merida’s Sonny Colbrelli (Italy) by over two minutes. AG2R La Mondiale’s Samuel Dumoulin (France) rounded out the podium.

De Gendt’s teammate Primoz Roglic (Slovakia) retained his race lead over BMC Racing’s Rohan Dennis (Australia).
Team Sky’s Geraint Thomas (Britain) currently sits in third.
