San Luis Potosi in Mexico added to the UCI Gran Fondo World Series Calendar
The Mexican qualifier which took place in San Luis Potosi last season will also be part of the 2019 UCI Gran Fondo World Series
The event is qualifier with a time trial on June 8th 2019, in the downtown Tangamanga park over 22.6 kilometers while the Gran Fondo on Sunday June 9 will start and finish in the city center for a challenging loop of 121km with 1,158m of elevation.
San Luis Potosi is a city 400km north of the capital with a population of 685,000 people and at an altitude of 1,850m above sea level.
Last year 750 riders from 14 different countries took part in the event.
