Happy Hour, Start Line Coffee, Finish Line Party details released. Register by March 12 before Price increase.

As Gran Fondo Florida swiftly approaches, the Gran Fondo National Series has released updated information on a Saturday Happy Hour, Sunday’s Finish line Party, entry pricing, and USA Cycling Gran Fondo National Championship qualification details. The annual cycling event in San Antonio, FL will be held March 22, 2020.

Happy Hour, Hosted by Flint Creek Outfitters

A great cycling event is more than a bike ride, and Gran Fondo Florida features a Saturday evening Happy Hour hosted by Flint Creek Outfitters in Dade City, FL. Cyclists can meet new and old friends over drinks and appetizers at Flint Creek Outfitters from 6:30-7:30 PM on Saturday, March 21.

Sunday Morning Coffee

Before the start on Sunday morning, head over to our friends from NRS & Events, powered by VOLVO for a cup of coffee. Once we start, look for the Volvos out on course if you need mechanical assistance. 

Finish Line Party, Hosted by VO2 Max Cycles

There’s nothing like a hot meal and cold beer after a great day on the bike. The Finish Line Party will be hosted by VO2 Max Cycles and feature great food from Poncho Villas, cold beer, and live music from Rough Idle. Riders are encouraged to stick around for a chance to win valuable raffle prizes from GFNS sponsors.

Dozens of Prizes in Famous GFNS Finish Line Raffle

While category winners will earn custom cycling kits from DNA Cycling, you don’t have to win to walk away with a prize. Working with dozens of supporting sponsors, GFNS will raffle off thousand of dollars in prizes during the post-ride party, and all registered riders are eligible to win! Prizes include a 4-night stay at Garda Bike Hotel in Italy, a Wahoo KICKR smart trainer, Shimano S-Phyre RC901 shoes (or choose from 2 new models: RC901T (revised Boa for better power transfer while sprinting) or RC901W (Women’s last), a Lazer Century helmet, Industry Nine hubset, and products from Cane Creek, Pedal Industries, Swiftwick, Eagles Nest Outfitters, Speedsleev, and more.

Qualify for 2020 USA Cycling National Championship Event

Riders can qualify for the 2020 USA Cycling Gran Fondo National Championship event at Gran Fondo Asheville (July 19, 2020) based on results from the 2019 and 2020 Gran Fondo Florida, along with results from other select 2019 and 2020 gran fondos. Review complete qualification details here. 

Entry Fees Increase March 12th!

Registration prices for all three routes will increase by $20-$25 on March 12, 2020. Cyclists are urged to register early to take advantage of lower registration prices. Register here.

The current fees are:

Gran Route (100 miles): $140
Medio Route (55 miles): $120
Piccolo Route (35 miles): $85

Services and amenities for all riders include pro-level support and fully stocked and staffed aid stations on course, timed segments, prize raffles, finish line party, and more.
