Part of the legendary Oregon Triple Crown Series, the 5th Annual Takelma Grinder is 56 miles (of which 43 miles is timed) grinding bliss with 6,000 feet of climbing thrown in, gradients of up to 15%, out and back from the Seven Feathers Casino Resort next June 22nd 2024.

Join for a fun, one-day ride through some of Oregon’s most beautiful gravelled roads. Ride through Seven Feathers Casino Resort and on some of the steepest hills around in southern Oregon!

Seven Feathers Casino Resort is nestled among tall Douglas firs and pine trees just off Interstate 5, at exit 99, in Canyonville, Oregon.

Riders will prove if they are Takelma Tough with this 56-mile bold ride with 55% gravel at the Takelma Gravel Grinder.

Enjoy Takelma Roasting coffee starting at 6am the day of the event prior to the 8:30 am start in the Casino.

Sasquatch will see you on your way out, before rolling towards the town of Canyonville and onto rural Tiller Trail Hwy.

Plenty hard for the Bold Route with sustained and unrelenting climbing after a flat 13 miles of pavement to start the event. The Bold Route defines the “Takelma Tough” attitude.

Passing farm and ranch landscapes along the South Umpqua River, soon we’re on to the gravel experience with our first climb of the ride. A challenging KOM climbing effort with an average gain of 9%, then cresting to a spectacular valley view of Days Creek.

The riders start the KOM at mile 15 through Mile 21 and, continue to Chief Miwaleta Park, and along the scenic view of Galesville Reservoir before returning to Seven Feathers Casino Resort where refreshments await, before finishing the timed portion 13 miles from the Casino and then returning to Seven Feathers Casino Resort.

The average time to complete the ride is 4 hours. The fastest woman currently is Evelyn Boling, 3h 24m 5s and fastest man currently is Stefano Barberi, 2h 37m 51s both set in 2022.
