Great Otway Gravel Grind in Australia opens 2024 Gravel World Tour ® Series

The series supported by the Gran Fondo World Tour ® and Pro Cycling Stats will deliver first series points in Australia on February 25th

The Great Otway Gravel Grind p/b Focus (aka GOGG)  is an exceptional gravel event in Australia taking place February 25th 2024. The event was first held in 2017 and helped establish gravel riding in Australia with nearly 1,000 riders participating each year. The event is located just 2 hours drive from Melbourne International Airport in Victoria.

Now in its 8th year, the GOGG is fast gaining recognition as one of Australia's best gravel events with spectacular dirt roads with no traffic.

The are two courses; the 49km Small Ring and the 97km Bing Ring to suit a wide range of abilities, bit are suitable for all types of bikes gravel, MTB, CX or road.

The course follows smooth rolling gravel roads and includes some long climbs through the rainforest and fast descents to the ocean with little traffic. Unique aspects of the event include a mix of timed and time out areas of the course, allowing riders to race segments and then cruise with their friends in between times.

Starting and finishing in a large bike expo with brands, food, live music, kids events and more – it is an all encompassing gravel event that welcomes all international riders.

The GOGG is one of the biggest gravel events in Australia, attracting some of the best riders across Australia who come to chase the title and some of the $1,400 prize money for men and women across and range of age categories.
