All athletes who sign up for Gran Fondo Asheville at least 26 days before the event, or by June 18th, will receive an event-specific jersey from SUAREZ! To minimize waste and protect the environment, these jerseys are produced on-demand, which is why we need accurate counts ahead of time. We will have a limited supply of jerseys for size exchanges and for purchase day of the event. Don't forget to complete your kit with matching bib shorts, available during signup and on-site.

Ride With Italian Champion Filippo Pozzato

Italian cycling legend Filippo Pozzato, winner of Milan-San Remo and Italian Pro National Championship, is set to ride the 2024 Gran Fondo Asheville. Joining the VIP Experiences at Applewood Manor, participants can interact with Pozzato. Furthermore, Pozzato will showcase the VENEtoGO Social Ride, scheduled for October, during which several members of the Gran Fondo National Series Staff plan on attending.

Applewood Manor VIP Experiences with Filippo Pozzato and Davide Magon

Riders will have multiple opportunities to meet and interact with Filippo Pozzato and Davide Magon, including:

- VIP Dinner at Applewood Manor on Friday, July 14: Hosted by Stephen Collins, owner of Applewood Manor, guests will enjoy a gourmet meal and wine pairings from the Manor’s extensive wine collection.

- VIP Packet Pickup and Cookout at Applewood Manor on Saturday, July 15: Enjoy an evening on the grounds of Applewood Manor with special guests.

- Guided and Supported Recon Ride on Saturday, July 15: Join Filippo Pozzato, Davide Magon, and special guests for a spin to preview parts of the Gran Fondo Asheville course.

Bike Expo at Rabbit Rabbit Downtown

The Gran Fondo Asheville Expo has been a thriving component of the Gran Fondo Asheville weekend for the past three years. Downtown venue Rabbit Rabbit will once again host the 2-day cycling festival that showcases local outdoor companies and national and international cycling brands, including BMC Bicycles and Italy’s Garda Bike Hotel. The extensive outdoor expo features with food trucks, local beer, cycling clinics, and family-friendly activities for all ages.

Gran Fondo National Series events are qualifier events for the USA Cycling Gran Fondo National Championships (Sept 15, 2024 in Frederick, MD). The USA Cycling #GFNats are a qualifier event for the 2025 UCI Gran Fondo World Championships! Details here.
