Slovenia’s Alpe Gran Fondo joins the Gran Fondo World Tour®
Be part of this unforgettable cycling adventure that will take you through stunning landscapes in the Slovenian and Austrian Alps this June 25th
A unique cycling event connecting Slovenia and Austria on a famous route around the Kamnik Savinja Alps is back this June 25th 2024.
There a three courses on offer for cyclists of all abilities. The 130 km “Royal” GranFondo with 3 alpine passes and 2,000 m of climbing. The 75 km “Hobby” Medio Fondo climbs alpine passes with 1,454 m of climbing. The shorter 14.5 km Piccolo Fondo contains just the the climb of Cernivec with 545 m of climbing.
The Fondo starts earliy in the beautiful medieval town of Kamnik, the event is suitable for all cyclists with Road, MTB and e-MTB bikes. Click here for details of accommodation.
The roads will be CLOSED throughout the entire event.
Professional cyclist Luka Mezgec (Team Jayco AlUla) will be taking part, amongst well known Slovenian recreational cycling teams.
