"Together, we will give back to the communities that have always been there for us. We will ride new routes exclusively within Greenville County, with the full support of local authorities. We appreciate your patience as we’ve worked tirelessly to make this event a reality. Our primary concern has been ensuring that we can gather safely and without straining the resources of the communities most affected by the storm. After extensive discussions with Greenville County, we’ve crafted a plan that prioritizes safety while also supporting our friends in need."

About Hurricane Helene
Helene is one of the deadliest hurricanes to strike the US mainland in the last 50 years.
As of October 1, the death toll from Hurricane Helene has surpassed 130 people across six states, and that figure could rise over the coming days as hundreds are still reported missing. What’s more, the associated economic damages are estimated to be somewhere around $150 billion.
President Joe Biden directed 1,000 troops to western North Carolina to assist with ongoing recovery efforts as the hard-hit region continues to struggle in Helene’s wake.
