Rojas and Luza take Victory 4th GFNY Cusco in the Peruvian Andes
The 4th GFNY Cusco was held on a 99.5 km long competitive course with an elevation gain of 1742m, reaching up to 3,600 m above sea level making it the highest reaching Granfondo race in the world.
Cusco or Cosqo, is located in the Peruvian Andes, 3,200 meters above sea level. It is the historical capital of the country, in addition to being recognized as world heritage site by UNESCO.
Soon after the start, a strong peloton of thirty riders formed, including defending 2023 champion Alain Quispe and GFNY Paracas 2024 champ Gonzalo Arévalo.
