The West Maui Loop, widely celebrated as one of the best cycling routes in the world, takes center stage with the annual Pedal Imua, a special charity ride on the Gran Fondo World Tour® schedule

Since 2022, this event has proudly closed the year-round Gran Fondo series, blending world-class cycling with heartfelt community impact.

A Ride with Purpose Pedal Imua is more than just a bike ride—it's a community-supported fundraiser dedicated to aiding children in crisis and honoring the deep connection to Hawai’i’s ‘aina (land). Proceeds benefit Dream Imua, a wish-granting program for children in Maui County who are facing crises due to abuse or trauma.

The Scenic Challenge Cyclists will tackle the famed West Maui Mountain Loop, a 100-kilometer (60-mile) journey through breathtaking mountains and coastlines. For those seeking a shorter challenge, a half-ride option covers 50 kilometers (30 miles). Both courses offer significant elevation gains of up to 4,173 feet, beginning and ending at sea level.

Course Options:Full ride: 100 km / 60 miles , Half ride: 50 km / 30 miles, E-Bikes: Welcome for both full and half distances

Support Along the Route

Riders will have access to hydration and rest stops, food zones, bike maintenance support, and a tail-end vehicle to ensure safety. Post-Ride

Participants will be treated to a complimentary brunch, a well-deserved reward after conquering the legendary route.
