The Oregon Gran Fondo: A Ride for Everyone!
Cyclists of all levels are invited to register for the highly anticipated Oregon Gran Fondo, set to take place on May 18 2025.
This exhilarating cycling event offers three distinct routes, ranging from 64 to 102 miles, showcasing the breathtaking landscapes of the Oregon Coast Range. Whether you are an experienced cyclist or a weekend warrior, the Oregon Gran Fondo promises an unforgettable experience amidst the region's natural beauty.
The event will kick off from the charming town of Cottage Grove, Oregon, where riders will have the opportunity to choose from three diverse routes, each designed to challenge and inspire.
Route 1: Gran Fondo All-Road Epic (102 miles)
For those seeking a true test of endurance, the Gran Fondo All-Road Epic route offers a demanding journey through the heart of the Coast Range. Participants can expect high-elevation climbs, exhilarating descents, and sweeping views of lush forests and picturesque farmland. With multiple aid stations stocked with hydration and nutrition, along with knowledgeable volunteers providing support, riders will be well-equipped to tackle this epic challenge.
Route 2: Medio Fondo All-Road Classic (64 miles)
The Medio Fondo All-Road Classic route is ideal for cyclists looking for a rewarding yet manageable distance. This 64-mile journey features a balanced mix of climbs and scenic rollers, guiding riders through old-growth forests and alongside serene rivers and creeks. This route encapsulates the essence of the Coast Range’s beauty, providing an immersive experience for those who want to enjoy the ride without the longer mileage.
Route 3: Oregon Gran Fondo Gravel Adventure Route (94 miles)
Gravel enthusiasts will revel in the Oregon Gran Fondo Gravel Adventure route, which combines paved stretches with rugged gravel paths. This 94-mile adventure takes riders deeper into the remote parts of the Coast Range, featuring long gravel segments through dense forests, steep climbs, and technical descents. Ideal for those craving a unique challenge, this route captures the wild spirit of Oregon cycling.
All routes are supported by dedicated aid stations, clear route signage, and a well-coordinated safety team to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants. Please note that the timing point ends 10 miles from Cottage Grove, allowing riders to focus on their journey and the stunning surroundings.
