Both rides showcase the raw beauty of ancient Siuslaw National Forests and some of its seriously fun hills.

It has some of quietest roads that cyclists will ever encounter – a well-kept secret, a cyclist’s paradise.

The events are produced in cooperation with both communities of Waldport and Yachats, with the support of The Peoples Coast that will highlight the natural beauty of rural Oregon coastal communities.

There are plenty of excellent hotels, Vrbo's, and camping options to stay in Waldport and 9 miles south in Yachats for any level of comfort.

The Oregon Coast Gravel Epic on the Saturday, consists mostly logging roads and some pavement left over from decades of active logging that still exists to this day with two routes to suit all abilities.

There are three aid stations out on course, 3 for the Abomination and 2 for the Son.

The challenge is geared towards the enthusiast cyclist looking for a well-marked and supported event. A good day of gravel riding with friends amid an enchanting forest is in store on the Oregon Coast!

Post-event festivities are located at the Waldport Community Center with food and beverages. Podium Pint glasses for all 11 divisions awarded for both routes starting at 1:30pm and 2:30 pm. DJ onsite and food vendors to use your 14.00 food voucher.

Custom awards will be presented to the top 3 finishers in each category. Champion awards include custom Pint glasses or Medals for age group top 3 in 2025.
