The fourth edition of the Granfondo Médio Tejo will be held on May 18, 2025, starting and ending in the municipality of Tomar, alternating the following year to the municipality of Ferreira do Zêzere.

This is a cycle tourism event, open to the participation of all cyclists, cycle sportsmen and cycle tourists (federated or non-federated), of both sexes, of any nationality, and over 19 years of age at the time of the event.

In the Middle Tagus Region, the sublime landscape, predominantly forest and agricultural, is enriched by the five rivers that cross the territory. The rivers Tejo, Zêzere, Nabão, Almonda and Alviela are also accompanied by numerous streams, waterfalls, reservoirs and river beaches, which are ready to welcome and delight you on the hottest days.
The cultural, historical and architectural heritage of the region is vast and extremely relevant. Embark on a journey back in time and discover dinosaur footprints, traces of rock art or the Roman presence. Walk between the walls of the Castles of Abrantes, Tomar, Ourém, Almourol, Sertã and Torres Novas. Enjoy the diversity of architectural styles of the Convent of Christ, considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and unveil the secrets of the historic centers.

In the Granfondo Médio Tejo, there will be 3 distances. The routes are being defined and will be announced soon.

Pedal in this magnanimous combination of landscape and culture, and be part of history too.
