The Stone Circle gravel festival is a weekend in the UK cycling calendar where riders pass Stonehenge, and a host of other historic landmarks, before returning to Old Sarum Hill Fort for a midsummer party.

When the event’s previous organiser announced its closure in August it was stated that all future events would be cancelled. However, four former employees, all creditors of the business, have started a new company and will deliver the next edition of Stone Circle on June 27-29, 2025.

The Stone Circle is a weekend festival of gravel cycling, featuring three route options, camping, DJs, pizza, craft beers, a fancy dress hill climb and prizes focused on inclusivity and fun.

The event will get underway from the English Heritage hilltop fort of Old Sarum and includes The Jester (80km), The Rebel (130km), and The Bastard (220km) route options.

Key features of The Stone Circle include a sunrise passing of Stonehenge, a mixture of exclusive American style gravel through MOD (Ministry of Defence) land, as well as single track, bridleways, forest trails, farmyard tracks and English countryside.
