Limited to: 1200 Participants

The 52st edition of the Ottawa Bicycle Club’s Rideau Lakes Cycle Tour (RLCT) is scheduled for June 21 and 22, 2025.  With up to 1500 cyclists, this two-day event is one of the largest such events in Canada.  Cyclists start in either Ottawa or Perth and ride to Kingston on the Saturday, then return on the Sunday.

There are four road routes with one-way lengths of 119km to 210km and one 'gravel' route of 119km.  The routes go through the scenic countryside of the Rideau Valley passing many picturesque lakes and historic towns.  The Ottawa Bicycle Club provides luggage transfer to and from Kingston and arranges accommodation at Queen's University.  On the supported routes it provides facilities at official rest stops (water and toilets) and, working with community groups arranges food for purchase.  On route, the OBC arranges mobile repair services, emergency communication services and  police supervision at major intersections on the supported routes.
