Welcome to the Irreverent Road Ride, No BullSh**T, the country’s single most challenging dirt road ride.

IRR is entering its 13 edition and is still NOT A RACE.

We’re excited to offer a route that includes some of the hair-raising sections you’ve come to expect and one of the most serene and scenic roads in the Green Mountain State. The route will have Vermont maple syrup, covered bridges, floating bridges, farms, swimming holes, questionable roads, questionable double track, questionable decisions, ice cream, beer, easter eggs, and excellent awesome fun and camaraderie. This is a ride to tell your grandkids, friends, and social media followers if you want.

Most of the route is found on well-maintained dirt, aka gravel roads. The remainder is on Class IV roads. Class IV roads are often called double track, Jeep roads, Vermont Pave, ATV Trails, and unmaintained roads. These sections will be challenging both to you and your bike.

At its core, this ride is Pure Vermont Gravel.

If this is your first time attending IRR, we pull no punches. This is, hands down, unquestionably the most challenging single-day (or two) bike ride in America. People finish Unbound 200 faster than IRR. The finisher rate hovers around 15% each year (except that one year….) The roads are questionable at times and lost completely at others. The ride will demand endurance in its truest form and mental fortitude that is impossible to replicate in another setting. There is little to no support on the course.
