Distances: 15, 30, 60 miles

The Western Ride is the largest organized ride in the Western Communities and offers a premier cycling experience, benefiting domestic violence education programs.

The Western Ride was created for people of all fitness levels to experience cycling and increase awareness of domestic violence while raising funds for families starting their new violence-free lives. In this year's event we look forward to hosting over 300 riders!

Our sponsors are Independent/Family-Owned Businesses, Regional and National Companies. Thanks to them, we are able to produce a safe event and donate 100% of the pledges raised benefitting Donnah's Fund and Women In Distress.

Fundraising is encouraged, but not required with prizes for the top three fundraisers. Registration & check-in begins at 6:00 A.M.
Safety briefing and National Anthem begin at 7:00 A.M. Riders will return by 10:30am for lunch and activities.

Please note that routes are subject to change as the event date approaches, due to construction and other variables. This is a rain or shine event. The safety of our participants and volunteers is our most important concern and if any of the threatening weather conditions are present the day of the event (tornado warning, tornado watch, thunderstorm, heavy rain or a hurricane decides to visit), the event may be delayed or canceled. When weather conditions or other physical conditions present a danger to participants, such conditions fall under the label “acts of mother nature,” it will not result in refunding of any event entry fees or donations.
