A DAY IN HELL IN RHEINHESSEN is a cycling tourism gravel event, there is no timekeeping. It's not a race! The route is completed via GPS track. Everyone rides for themselves, with their friends or spontaneously joins a group.

We recommend a bike with disc brakes, as well as a gear ratio appropriate to the route (e.g. 1x11 with max. 42 blade and 10–42 cassette). The tires should be between 35 and 50 mm wide and profiled. Of course, a 650B tire will do the trick too. Tubeless is recommended. If you don't have a gravel bike, you can of course also compete with the MTB.
