The Sequoia is well known as one of the most challenging rides anywhere and for 2021 we've upped it a notch or two!  So all our riders will earn their bragging rights, all four of the routes are over 100ft/mile!    As a bonus, all riders will be traversing this amazingly beautiful area, right out of the box!

Four Routes:  36.4 mi./4,072ft,  58.7 mi./6,705ft, 77.3mi./8,733ft and 100.3 mi.-10,540ft!

THIS YEAR:  Each route has a maximum rider limit so when that route fills, that route will close.

36 mile = 53 riders,    59 mile = 149 riders,    77 mile = 299 riders,    100 mile = 499 riders.

All 4 routes ascend Moody to Page Mill Rd, continue up and over Skyline to the first rest stop.  The longest 3 descend on west Alpine through vistas from open ridges to deep redwoods then down towardss the coast. You'll travel past lush valleys with farms and ranches and quiet coast-side towns overlooking the blue Pacific.  The 3 longer routes return back over Skyline via the amazing Tunitas Creek Rd then descend the thrilling Kings Mountain Rd to Woodide and Portola Valley.

The 36 mile returns back to Skyline then north with amazing coastal and Silicon Valley views before the descent to Portola Valley rest stop One more small climb before returning to Foothill and a colorful finish line gathering!  2 rest stops provided.

The 59 mile travels west to San Gregorio, north on Hwy 1, then east on Tunitas Creek Rd to Skyline rejoined with the two longest routes. 4 rest stops and the finish line meal.

The 77 mile is a classic loop, with all the beautiful coast-side scenery, the fun climbs and descents and no options to cut any corners!  5 rest stops provided. The two longer routes both return over the beautiful Tunitas Creek climb and enjoy the Kings Mtn. Rd descent before returning back to the start at Foothill College!

The 100 mile has multiple to test your resolve before you can attain the 10,540 ft elevation gain achievement.  This route will be a test of both body and mind, but the rewards will be yours to keep for years!  6 rest stops and the amazing finish line zone provided.
