Limited to: 3000 Participants

The 44th Door County Century is the original 100 mile, one-day bike tour on the scenic back roads of the Door County Wisconsin.  This classic event takes place the Sunday after Labor Day each year.

This strategic schedule takes advantage of a motor vehicle traffic lull that occurs between the busy summer season and the ever-popular autumn colors in October.  Four courses are offered -- a 100-mile Century, as well as 70-mile, 50-mile (Half Century), and 30 offerings.  There are 6 scenic, waterfront rest stops on the 100-mile, century distance course.

Don’t delay, the DCC sells out to capacity each year. In 2022, 3,000 riders participated in the 43rd DCC and our participant capacity was met at an all-time record pace.

The Door County Century is neither a race nor a test of stamina (well, maybe stamina). It is intended that all participants ride at their own pace and in a safe and responsible manner.  You may ride any of our four course lengths:  30, 50, 70 or 100 mile courses with your paid registration.  Register early and save - See Fee Schedule.

There is no designated mass start time for the riders. Instead, riders need to plan to depart as early as 6:00 am (sunrise) and no later than 10:00 am on the day of the ride, depending on their anticipated pace and planned distance. In order to ensue that participants reach rest stops during operating hours, please depart during the specified window.  Slower riders and those planning to ride the longer routes with multiple stops should depart earlier in the day.

Routes will be well marked and support vehicles are available to assist riders. Rest stops with food, beverages, and technical support are spaced throughout each route. A chicken Fajita dinner gathering, including Fat Tire and other specialty New Belgium beers, is provided after the ride. Each rider receives a free dinner with their ride registration. Your friends and family are welcome to meet up with you after your ride, and they can purchase the picnic tickets without riding.
