Bo Bikes Bama is a charity bike ride started by sports legend Bo Jackson to honor the lives lost during the April 27, 2011 tornadoes and help the state of Alabama recover and prepare for the future. The 2015 ride will take place in Auburn, Alabama and will feature 63- and 20-mile routes.
 
In three years, Bo Bikes Bama has attracted approximately 1,200 cyclists from 28 states and raised nearly $800,000. Bo Bikes Bama initiatives support the Governor’s Emergency Relief Fund, which has repaired hundreds of homes and provided community storm shelters throughout the state. Producing partners include Nike, Trek Bicycle, Trek Travel, and Big Communications.
