Distances: 22, 42, 62 miles
Difficulty: Gently rolling terrain with one or two short hills

Since its inception in 2014, over £100,000 has been donated to local charities, who continue to do fantastic work in the community. Your loyal support is much appreciated! This year we are again looking forward to working together with Paul Spence and his charity, P.A.U.L. For Brain Recovery.

The HBS was the first cycle sportive to incorporate the iconic Humber Bridge, which is still the longest single span suspension bridge in the world to allow cyclists and pedestrians to cross it. We offer a choice of 3 routes -  22, 41 and 61 miles - these can be viewed on our website. All routes will cross the iconic Humber Bridge on a dedicated footway before riding on the quiet roads of North Lincs, which offer spectacular views across to Lincoln Cathedral and the Humber Estuary. The longer route will head towards the market town of Caistor, before tracking down towards the river Humber, and then return to the Humber Bridge, via Goxhill and Barton.

This event, whilst presenting a testing challenge to those who take on the 61 mile route, has proved extremely popular with families and those who are new to sportive events. Whilst the cost of staging the event continues to rise, we have tried to keep our entry fees as low as possible and still offer excellent value for money - our Feed Stations are a highlight of the event - check out the Feedback Page on our Facebook page / website!!!

Feed stations are provided for each route, with an additional water/banana stop for the Long Route after 27 miles, and refreshments are available at the end of the ride - all riders will also receive a £2 voucher to put towards the cost of a drink, or an ice cream.

Toilet facilities are available at Hesslewood, and at both Feed Stations on the Long/Medium routes.

Mechanical support and a mobile First Aid Unit will also be on duty throughout the event.

The event uses chip timing.

As well as a free photo of you crossing the Humber Bridge, a finishing photograph + certificate with your time will be available for download from Ride Timing.

Detailed information about the event, together with the routes, can be found on our website: www.humberbridgesportive.co.uk

Any updates and information are also posted regularly on our event Facebook page.

Final details will be posted on the website, and sent out by email once the ride has closed, approximately 10 days before the event.
