The Strade Bianche Achterhoek -Gijs Verdick memorial- is a sporty tour on asphalt, pebbles, gravel, grass and sand for the "die-hard gravel rider" and the sporty local. The Lochemse Wieler Club de Paaschberg is the organiser of the event. Our club enjoys sporty cycling at all levels. And with about 90 volunteers we try to make it a party from start to finish. Start and finish take place in the magnificent open-air theatre Lochem. We also commemorate Gijs Verdick on this day.

2021 theme has not been revealed yet, but it might sound something like: LOVE TRAVELS ON GRAVEL ROADS !

This year, we will consolidate the 110 and 150 km routes and slightly extend the 65 km towards 75 km.
All routes lead you through wonderful countryside with castles, old farmhouses, woodlands and fields. Music and food along the route, and start and finish in the legendary Open Air Theatre Lochem.

Participation is limited to 1000 enthousiasts.

Campsite opens:    Saturday September 25th, 12:00h
Rides start:              Sunday September 26th, 8:00h
