Castellon Gravel Race

The Castellon Gravel Race takes place in the mountainous region of Llucena, Castellón. This prestigious cycling event, which saw Alejandro Valverde and Sofía Rodríguez claim victory in its inaugural year, is set to further elevate the sport of gravel cycling.

The course of the Castellon Gravel Race starts and finishes in the town of Llucena and has two distances, a 97km distance for all young categories and a shorter 85km course which skips the final loop around town for the men 60+ and women 50+.

The course is designed in the mountain region around the town and has 72% of gravel roads with 28% of paved roads, mainly located in the first 7km and a longer section just after halfway the course.
