CLIMB TO NEW JERSEY’S HIGHEST POINT

The hilly Highlands region outside of Butler features great climbs and ascends to the highest point in New Jersey. A great event for all-around cyclists who can power up short climbs and still have the energy to push the pace in a group.

JUST 30 MINUTES FROM NEW YORK CITY

This ride from Butler, New Jersey is a great way to experience the landscape outside the New York City metro area. With remarkably quiet country roads, shady tree canopies, and a downtown start/finish at High Point Brewery, this beautiful and challenging ride is well worth the trip. The Gran Route crosses the Appalachian trail eight time and showcases some spectacular. It’s hard to believe riding this good is located so close to the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area.

What's Included?

Parking:
Butler High School 38 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ 07405. Parking regulations will be enforced- Do not park in restricted parking areas you will be fined if you are in violation of parking.  There is lots of space at the school and it’s close to the start finish area.  Please park at the school.

Aid Stations:
Fully stocked aid stations and SAG support to keep you going
There will be 4 aid stations along the 100 mile route, 2 on the 64mi, and 1 on the 25mi (about every 20-25 miles). Food and water will be provided in single-serving packages. We will provide Water, Heed sports drink, Soda, Hammer Gel, Hammer Bars, Bananas, Clementines, Cookies, Chips, Fig Bars, an other items. 

Bathrooms:
Aid-Station will have bathrooms.

Timing Chips:
You must have your timing chips installed on race morning. You will be issued a timing chip, if you do not return the timing chip you will be charged $100.

At the Finish
Upon reaching the finish line, riders will be directed into a one-way finishers' chute to: Return Timing Chip, take complimentary Finisher Photo, and Post-Ride food and beverage. Riders with particular dietary needs should be prepared with own post-ride food options.
