Frank Schleck, one of the most famous Luxemburg professionals decided to end his career after the 2016 season.  His plan to set up a Granfondo on his training roads was already growing steadily in his head in the past years and will be realized in his first year after his retirement. The Schleck Gran Fondo is a UCI Gran Fondo World Series qualifier on Fränk Schleck's training routes in Luxemburg an espescially in the beautiful Moselle region.

The Schleck Gran Fondo is a qualifier for the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships held in Varese, Italie.

160 km and 2,400m of Elevation

Boasting 2,400m of elevation, the 150km race tests the endurance of riders with an awe-inspiring course. The first 25km leads along the Moselle region which occupies much of the eastern part of the country and features slopes flanking the majestic Moselle River before testing for the first time their climbing qualities.
The 150km course is a challenging race track with a repetition of short and steep climbs.

90 km and 1,400m of Elevation

The 85km race provides a shorter challenge for all abilities.

Gran Fondo Village

Enjoy a plethora of family activities, food and drink, Dj, and of course, a place to sit and rest.
This village is open to the public, so tell your friends to come and enjoy one of the best days of the year with you, whether you’re riding or not!

Pasta Party

The Schleck Gran Fondo will host their pre-event Pasta Party at Casino 2000 on Friday 15 May between 6 pm and 11 pm.  A safety briefing will be conducted at 7.15 pm during the Pasta Party.

After Race Party

The After Race Party will be the well deserved reward after all the climbs you’ll face in Gran Fondo. A nice concert will add a unique atmosphere to a great sporty weekend.
