Essential Costa Rica, CRC 506 UCI Gran fundo from Costa to Costa, is a cycling event of route of character amateur, classificatory for the date of the world big funds of the UCI international cycling union in 2020.
In this first edition of two days the event will travel the country from the atlantic coast to the pacific coast.
The first stage of saturday, september 28th, will be the classification stage for the UCI worlds. Initiate in the city of limon in the atlantic, to the center of the country.
The second stage will begin in the capital city of San Jose on Sunday, September 29, and it will also be a great uci fund, and will be linked to the final goal in the coastal city of puntarenas.
This is an event that, for the first time in the history of the national cycling, seeks as a goal the declaratory of zero emissions-carbon neutral.
Routes: 122 km
Difficulty of Greatest Route:
C - Moderate terrain with rolling short steep hills or moderate, sustained climbs
