The second stage will take place on Thursday, February 15, the cyclists will leave from Vélez-Málaga, capital of Axarquía, on the way to Alcaudete with a total of 192.2 kilometers. This is the longest stage of this edition. As soon as you leave the road, the road will begin to steepen to take on the first-class ramps of Puerto del Sol between the municipalities of Periana and Alfarnate and, before leaving the province of Málaga and entering Granada, you will climb the Puerto de los Alazores, third-class. category. Already in Córdoba, the third province to be visited in this second stage, the Alto del Jaramillo will be climbed, also in the third category, and in Jaén the Puerto de Sierra Ahillos will be climbed, which is in the second category and is located a little further away. 30 kilometers from the finish line located in the town of Alcaudete, and more specifically in the Calatravo Castle, a paved hill finish, a spectacular setting to close an exciting stage.
